I’m super happy with my work from my artist. He is a great guy and does AMAZING work. I have all my tattoos done by him (3). Anyways I’m a pretty good tipper ex. last tattoo was $400 and I tipped 20%. I’m soon to be going back for him to touch up a piece he did awhile ago. There will be no charge he said. But I do appreciate his time and his hard work. So how much do I tip? Maybe $20 an hour?

You’re like me…
We both tip entirely too much.

I’d probably hand him a $50.
Unless this touch-up was taking a very long time…like 5 hours…then I’d give $100.

Yeah it’s entirely up to you. Was it worth your time and his? How much was it worth to you? Any artist would appreciate a tip if they said the touch up was free.
