cannot even bear myself to watch it anymore, seems more of aubrey than tattooing! jeez i mean before she came into the show they were showing us them doing around 4/5 tattoos an episode, now its only like 2/3!
she has ruined the show and im not going to watch it again unless that idiot of a girl gets the sack by kat, which she nearly did a few times but kats being so soft on her, if she cant do her job right in the first place why is she even working in the shop for?!?!
rant over lol.
I then ask myself is the show worth recording? 😀

I got annoyed with the way Kat was treating Corey in the last one, but I sort of understand her being busy. A friend is still a friend and the way she said “I don’t give a fuck about you” to him just turned me off from her.
I agree Aubry was stupid and annoying, but Liz is smart and a bitch. I rather watch Aubry over Liz any day. I just wish they wouldn’t show both shops.
I bought season one of LA Ink quite a while ago – I thought, ‘Hmm I like tattoos, maybe this is good?’
I was wrong. A lot of the tattoos I didn’t really like, people were trying to justify too much about why they were getting the tattoo. I just wanted to see the art come to life, not hear the person’s life story.
Even in the first season, it was focussing on Kat’s personal life too much, not the tattoos. I don’t know what’s going on in the show anymore, last time I saw it there was Kat, Corey, Pixie, Hannah and the other chick working there (forget her name but she was one of the original girls.)
its painful to watch, its clear aubrey has been used to people TRYING to get along with HER, instead of HER trying to get along with other people. Clearly she was a popular girl and her ‘looks’ have carried her, not in the world of tattooing, nobody can get away with being a stupid fuck. at the same time that shes annoying, theyre also very harsh on her, if they didnt like her they shouldnt of hired her, instead of blanking everything she says and shunning her attempts to fit in, its sad, and stupid – bring back MIAMI INK@!@!
That show is aweful now. If you listen to what is being said it is clearly edited. The tone of the first part of the sentence never matches the last part. And notice they rarely show them actually speaking, they only show the reaction of the person being spoken to. To me the tattooists are just characters in a horribly edited cartoon. Miami ink showed alot of tattooing, LA ink is all about the drama and it actually takes away from what great tattooist they are. Thats just my 2 cents.

i watched an episode today, it was the episode i think episode 2 of the 3rd series, and Kat had Jeep phone Amy, Jeep phoned amy and just by coincidence there was a cameraman in amy’s house when the phone call came through, and amy looked so shocked when she heard it was LA Ink offering her a job, its so fucking dumb, not rock and roll, not cool at all.BRING BACK MIAMI INK
This is so true of every “reality” show has some one making a phone call to some one else and there happends to be a camera crew there when the call is made and they act so suprised like they didnt know.
The other thing that really gets me is that everyone has a story..”im getting this to honour my dead gold fish”..For once I want to see someone walk in and say..Im getting tattooed for no real reason other than i want a tattoo..
These shows are all fake..Its all about marketing and product placement…How come we dont see money changing hands after a tattoo is finished ??? It would look real bad for the shows image if the general public saw how much money these guys are making..
