My daughter was born this past December and I was looking at getting a tattoo for her. I wanted to get her name on the inside of my left bicep with a winter theme going around my arm to make a half sleeve. She was born when we had record snow fall here in Maryland. But I have not seen any images online of snow or ice tattoos. Is it possible to get ink of snow and ice? Anyone have any ideas of a design? Haven’t taken this idea to my tattoo artist yet, trying to get some images and ideas before I do so.

Thanks for any help. 😉

I just had a go on Google and could only find snow flakes, no realistic snow fall. The only thing I can think of is maybe a light blue background with a few flakes falling.
But then again I’m not an artist so I’m sure someone else will be more helpful.

Thanks, that’s all I could find on google as well. Also searched other sites and just found snow flakes.

Actually thinking about doing traditional japanese half sleeve. Having a couple flowers to symbolize my daughter and wife and thinking about adding kanji for father and daughter. Will talk to my tattoo artist, its just hard finding winter themes for tattoos.

Yeah I was going to see what he could come up with but I’m actually like the idea of the traditional piece alot more.
