I guess I don’t reall follow where your going. You need to start with a design and refine it with your artist. Start with the cross and wording and then have the tribal designed around that. You will really need to find a professional artist, give them a deposit, and don’t make the appointment until the design is where you want it. Nobody is going to do a drawing for free. You need to commit to someone and work with them to get your idea across.
^^^ Yes, and discuss this with the artist too…let him know that you don’t want to get tattooed until you’re 100% satisfied with the design, and then find out how much it will cost for the ‘brainstorming’ process. Usually, the drawing money goes towards the total price of your tattoo anyway, so you’ll be paying that anyway.
