Virgin poster here, your help, thoughts, and suggestions are much appreciated.

I’m looking at getting my first tattoo in the next year or so, I have an idea of what I would like in my head but considering I’m not an artist I haven’t been able to put it onto paper yet. Although, luckily for me a friend of mine is a bit of a would be artist and has offered to help me come up with my dream design.

The tattoo I want would be for my shoulder. The image I have rolling around in my head would feature an octopus, kind of pinkish/orange in colour, front on portrait style, not scarily looking, more kind of majestic looking. I also want it to feature whitewater rushing/gushing around it like as if it had a wave breaking around it. And not cartoony looking, realistic in nature.

I’m having trouble finding tattoo images featuring whitewater, so I thought perhaps if some of you had any good examples of images where people have been inked with some kind of sailing or aquatic theme featuring whitewater you could please help me out by linking me or posting them here? it’d be really helpful as I brainstorm ideas with my friend who’s helping with the design.
