Theres a bit of a story behind it, ask if you would like to know the details but for a general answer the lion is for me, the leo sign for my mom and the cancer sign for my dad who passed away about eleven years ago.
I got it done at by Dutch at Dutch Touch in El Cajon, CA. He free-handed most of it on. Tell me what you think! These pics were taken immediately after so it is still red. It’s black and grey except the eye, which is yellow.
My next one is going to be a black and grey phoenix half sleeve on my other arm that extends onto my chest. Looking forward to it!
nice, congrates, do you have your next one picked out yet?:D
Well, it’s very blurry so it’s impossible to see if it’s good or bad. 🙂
This photo is too blurry to tell. It looks good in the same way old women look great on soap operas. Put a proper photo up and let us really dig in!
Congrats on the meaningful ink though, it’s a cool idea. Being a leo myself I appreciate the ink
Very nice but I would have gotten it bigger. Bigger is better. 😉
Agreed. Without knowing too much my initial thought is you should have got it bigger with all that space there. If funds didn’t allow you should’ve saved a bit and waited. Still nice nontheless
I don’t want to be mean. But it looks kind of lame. Should be bigger. but still…. I hope you like it cuz thats all that matters
roar….
Hi
I have to disagree I love big cat tattoos (I have 2) and I like the soft flow style the artist has used, it is unique and clearer pics would be awesome but I like what I see.
I have seen this artists work before and he always reminds of a pastel artist but does it on skin :).
Sizing wise is personal choice and I think for the size of your arms it is about right otherwise gets a bit crowded or lengthened.
You can always add background at a later date if you feel needs more but damn nice ink.
Take Care
Matthew
