Opendeurdag in Tattoo-school Antwerpen?!

Onlangs hoorde ik het nieuws dat er nu ‘n Tattoo School in Antwerpen is, waar je opgeleid kunt worden tot professioneel tattoo artiest.
(Nu ben ik zowiezo van mening dat je titel “Artiest” moet verdienen i.p.v. aannemen, maar dat even ter zijde) En waar je een licentie kunt krijgen die je dus blijkbaar nodig hebt om in Belgie een tattooshop te openen..
Nou was ik afgelopen weekend in Antwerpen (ff ‘n weekendje relaxen mag ook wel is ‘n keer), en toevallig lopen wij (ik en Steef), zo goed als, recht tegen het gebouw aan waar het, zogenaamde, Education Centre 4 Tattoo Art, huisvest.
En…. Zie daar: een bord waarop de Open dag verkondigd werd en geheel toevallig was die, precies die dag!
En aangezien ik heel nieuwsgierig van aard ben (soms meer dan goed voor mij is…), had ik het geweldige plan om even ‘n kijkje te gaan nemen.
Afijn, Wij naar binnen….
Druk was het niet, en de mensen die al binnen waren werden snel afgewimpeld…
Ik werd aangesproken door ‘n dame (een van de de “leerkrachten” en tevens drijvende kracht).
Zij vroeg mij of ik al in “de branche” zit.
Ik antwoorde haar dat ik wel affiniteit had en graag wat info wilden….
In de eerste instantie werd mij mee gedeeld dat ik maar op de site moest gaan kijken, maar door gewoon door te vragen heb ik er meer uit weten te krijgen (want zeg nou zelf… het zou stom zijn om ‘n potentieel leerling de deur te wijzen).
Zij vertelde mij dat je voor ‘n bedrag van maar 1500 euro ‘n opleiding van 1 werkweek krijgt (inc. mogelijkheid om 5 modellen te tattoeren), en dat je daar ALLES leert wat je nodig hebt om tattoo “artiest” te worden.
Ik noem maar even n paar punten…
ALLES over naalden, inkt, machines, hygiene, steriliseren, anatomie en dermatologie, hoe je met klanten om moet gaan, hoe je ‘n tattooshop moet openen… etc
En NATUURLIJK DE PRAKTIJK….
Op levende proef personen!!!
leren lijnen, schaduwen, kleuren etc etc…..
Natuurlijk is het wel raadzaam om de opleiding van 3 weken te nemen (voor maar 4300 euro inc. tattoo machine en een fles outline inkt en natuurlijk de mogelijkheid om max. 25 slachtoffers te tekenen voor hun leven) omdat je dan wel met wat meer zelfverzekerheid een tattooshop kunt openen.
Maar het is en blijft ‘n koopje want… zo durfde zij te beweren… vragen tattooeerders zeker wel 7 á 8000 euro en soms nog meer voor ‘n opleiding!!!!
En daarnaast loop je tenminste ook niet de fouten over te nemen van de desbetreffende leermeester….
Ondertussen moest ik steeds meer moeite doen om haar niet over haar bureau te trekken en even flink de waarheid te vertellen…
Toen ik ong. bij de 50 was (want tot 10 tellen was echt te weinig..)
vroeg ik weer wat verder…
Want stel dat ik deze opleiding wilde gaan doen…
Moet ik dan mijn eigen “slachtoffers” ronselen?
Dat hoefde niet, daar zorgen hun voor… (al vraag ik me hoe: razzia? lok tattoos? of gewoon kidnapping?)..
OK… tijd voor de volgende vraag:
Wat als ik het finaal verpest?????
Dat was niet mogelijk!!!
ten eerste:
Omdat er altijd ‘n bevoegde leerkracht naast staat..
(wat kan die doen??? machine uit je hand slaan? stekker eruit trekken? heel hard STOP!!! roepen??
het kwaad is dan al geschied…)
ten tweede:
Er bestaat niet zoiets als een “grote fout” hooguit wat schoonheids foutjes maar niets om je zorgen over the maken….
WHAT THE FUCK!!!!!!!!
ZIJN ZE NOU HELEMAAL VAN DE POT GERUKT!!!! STELLETJE MONGOLEN!!!!!
Nu werd ik zo kwaad dat ik eigenlijk dat wijf bij d´r haar wilde grijpen om d´r kop door haar bureau heen te rammen!!!
…. 1, 2, 3, 4, …. 65, 66, 67…
Ondertussen liet ze me wat werk zien van de leerlingen die al de opleiding hebben gevolgd..
EN HET WAS OM TE JANKEN… ZO SLECHT!!!! IK WAS IN SCHOK!!! GELOOF ME … IK KAN BEST WAT HEBBEN MAAR DIT IS TE SCHOFTERIG VOOR WOORDEN!!!!

Er is reeds eerder een topic geweest over deze tattoo-school http://www.ec4tattooart.net/ en laat ons eerlijk zijn, het was verre van het beste werk wat we al hadden gezien.
Nu is mijn vrouwtje toevallig in Antwerpen en kwam ze voorbij de school waar het net open deurdag is. Mijn vrouw is nu niet de grootste tattoo-fan maar zag zelf al dat het er allemaal heel bedenkelijk uitzag.
Wat wel zeker is is dat vele shops weldra weer klanten krijgen voor cover werk want in de school kon je een tattoo laten plaatsen voor 15 Euro met als voorwaarde dat de tattoo niet groter was dan een hand… Pfffffffff… kun je nagaan. Nu is het weer aftellen naar november.Beast_Within

she is a buisness lady,she only did a tattoo cours for a couple weeks
she is not an tattoo artist
and after this she open the tattoo school.
she start in the age from about almost 50 years old,but she cannot do tattoos
ask here for her artwork and you will have probly a schock

Recently I heard the news that now there is a Tattoo school in ….Antwerp…. , where you can be trained to become a professional tattoo artist. and where you can get a license which apparently is necessary in Belgium to open tattoo shop.
Well… last weekend I was in Antwerp, and accidentally I run into the building where the so-called, Education Centre 4 Tattoo Art, houses.And…. See there: a bord on which was proclaimed that there is a open house…. And entirely accidentally it happen to be, exactly that day!
And since I am extremely curious of nature are (sometimes more than good for me …), I had the brilliant plan to pay them a visit!
So… In I went… It was not very crowded, and the people who were already in were rapidly passed over.
I was addressed by lady (one of the socalled teachers and profounder of the scam). She asked me if I was already in the bussines. I answered her that I had affinity and I wanted some information…
In the first place I was told that I should look it up on their website, but by simply keep on asking I got more and more info. (besides, its not very clever to send a potential student away).
She told me that for only 1500 euro I could get, during 5 days, a training (inc. possibility to tattoo alive 5 models), and that I will learn EVERY NECESSARY THING you need to know to become a tattoo artist…..
Let me point out a couple of things the proclaime to teach you:
EVERYTHING concerning needles, ink, machines, hygiene, sterilisation, anatomy and dermatologie, how to work and treat customers, how to open a tattooshop etc .
And…. OFCOURSE HOW IT WORKS IN PRACTICE!!
On live test persons!!! How to line, shade, colour in etc etc…
AND THEY WILL TEACH YOU ALL OF THIS IN ONLY 5 DAYS…
MY ASS THEY WILL!!!!!
However it is advisable to take the trainingcourse 3 weeks (for only 4300 euro inc. a free tattoo machine and a bottle of outline ink and of course the possibility to scar max. 25 victims for life) because than you are more secure of you own talent before you open your tattooshop. But it’s absolutely the best deal you can get…
She even dared claim there are a lot of Artists who ask like 7 or 8000 euro and sometimes even more to be their apprentice!!!!
Besides that, if you will take their trainingcourse, there won’t be any chance to take over the mistakes of the Tattoo Artist…
In the meantime I had to do more and more effort not to yank her from her chair and tell her the truth…
By the time I counted up to 50 (because counting to 10 didn’t help much…) I was able to ask her for further details. Like this:
If I agree to sign up… Do I have recruit then my own victims?
The answer was NO! because they deliver the models… (I wonder how: like a razzia? By promising tattoo removal treathments? or ordinary kidnapping?)
OKAY… time for the next question: What if I totally fuck up?????
THAT’S NOT POSSIBLE!!! She said…
First of all: there is always competent teacher looking over your shoulder. ( but what can they do??? Yank the tattoo machine out of your hand? Pull out the plug? Shout STOP!!! But by then, the damage is already done…)
Secondly: THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS BIG MISTAKE….
Only little ones, but they can be over looked, nothing to worry about…

HOW CAN YOU LIVE WITH YOURSELF, WHEN YOU SEND ONE AFTER THE OTHER FUCKUP INTO THE WORLD WITH A FUCKING INEXPRESSIVE CERTIFICATE IN THEIR POCKET TO MALTREAT HUMANITY AND SCAR THEM FOR LIFE, AND GET PAYED FOR IT??????

MOREOVER THERE IS NO WAY IN HELL THAT EVERY MOTHERFUCKER CAN LEARN HOW TO TATTOO!!!!! EVEN THO IT LOOKS EASY ON TV, AND THOSE FUCKING SOAP OPERA’S SUCH AS MIAMI INK CONTRIBUTE TO THE FACT THAT PEOPLE THINK WAY TO LIGHT ABOUT SHIT LIKE THIS!!!!!
TO BECOME A TATTOOER, YOU NEED GUTS, PRACTICE, FEELING AND THE WILL TO GO ON!
TO BECOME A GOOD TATTOOER, YOU NEED ARTISTIC INSIGHT AND THE WILL TO KEEP ON LEARNING!!
YOU CANNOT BECOME A TATTOO ARTIST BECAUSE THAT’S IS A TITLE YOU HAVE TO EARN!!!!!!
