It was a design I worked through and took bits from other tattoos I have seen. I spent a month in French Polynesia this summer on a sail boat and searched through different artists work down there. Each part of the manta ray has a specific purpose and meaning bringing the whole meaning of the design to represent protection and safety.

I have a few pictures of some other ones I will post later tonight or tomorrow.
