I want something that deals with the concepts of the world (to keep humanity’s priority in perspective) and time (as a reminder of mortality). The best thing I’ve come up with is a pangaea-shaped opening on my left forearm with gears inside, but I’m not terribly pleased with the image. Can you suggest any alternatives?

pocket watch, with little silhouetted houses and trees and skyline type stuff, around the edge of the pocket watch. Could be an awesome tattoo with the right custom tattoo artist working on it for you.

Yes. Pocket watch for time. And a compass for humanity’s priorities? I’m really not sure what humanity’s priorities are, or if it even has any… but the compass keeps us pointed in the right direction.

If you did something in a tritych or diptych, you wouldn’t need something as generic as a clock for time.

on second thought, this is for a tattoo………that might be too much.
