Hi,
looking for any help here.

I got a tattoo at a very well known tattoo shop. It was my 4th tattoo, however my first in colour. I got it on my rib (again my first in this area.)

The tattoo was fine for the first 4 days, however I have now returned home (from the counrty that I got the tattoo) and I woke up to find loads of red blotchy dots/spots all around the tattoo. There are a few on it as well.

Does anyone have any idea what this is? Why it has happend? And what I can do to sort it?

I was using A&D ointment but have previously used Bipanthene and so have switched to that.

They are not itchy or sore …just really horrible to look at!

I had a 14 hour flight home and I am wonder if sitting for so long uncomfortable with my t-shirt rubbing on it has maybe irritated it.

Any help is really appreciated.
