Hi,
I have three tattoos (1 piece) Mom on my heart dad on my bicep and my sisters name on my ribs and I’m planning my next one. I’m thinking anywhere from just a shoulder and upper arm piece to a 3/4 ish sleeve. I’m planning on it being japanese waves ( http://randomknowledge.files.wordpress.com/2008/05/the_great_wave_off_kanagawa.jpg ) in the background with a Rose ( http://oldschooltattoos.org/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/Rose-Tattoo.jpg ) for one grandmother, an orchid ( http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3186/2962598002_0c3f35a231.jpg ) for the other, and possibly peonies for my parents (they would always grow them in our yard http://fc01.deviantart.net/fs25/f/2008/105/8/7/peony_cover_up_tattoo_by_RUFI_DESIGNS.jpg ). Also i would like a large koi in the center facing downstream. This represents my lifelong shyness and introversion. Or possibly a turtle hiding in it’s shell.
I’m looking for a tattoo artist in chicago that’s specialty is flowers/nature and animals possibly. I’m thinking about Miles Maniaci. He does really good japanese and flower work.
Thanks!
the artist who did my light house does a lot of flowers/nature stuff. he’s in the north chicago area. heres a link to the shop’s website. Randy is the guy’s name

real cool place, go and check out their portfolios for sure, see if its what you like.
I’d suggest going to The Chicago Tattoo Company. Here’s is Nick Colella’s website http://lostsoul.com/home.html but there are tons of other tattoers there that do very impressive tattoos respected worldwide. If Nick’s work doesn’t fit your liking maybe post over here http://www.lastsparrowtattoo.com/ as there are lots of other Chicago area tattooers on this site.
Look forward to hearing and seeing more, thanks!
