I am week out after my second session now. Couple more weeks to heal, another session and I think I will have this portion finished. This is my 8th piece but the only one I really care to show. (the others 14-18 years old and the quality of work is pretty heinous)

Both of these shots are right after the first and second session. Pics taken with my phone.

Session one about 2.5 – 3 hrs

Session 2 about 3 hrs. I had enough right about 2 hrs 45 min. Endorphins stopped working! lol

Still got some work to do obviously but I think it is going well.

Looks great so far, there are a lot of Koi tats out there so it is sometimes hard to really elaborate on the creativity or style, but as far as detail, solid. Looking forward to seeing the end result

Yes I agree. Koi tats are abundant to say the least. I wanted one the first time I saw one, just never did anything to get it. I am hoping this will evolve into something more in the long run. Got ideas bouncing around in the noggin. Only time will tell. Got some old nasty tats that are begging to be covered first.:D

Good looking gold fish. Line work looks great, something looks a little off with the coloring that is there. It will probably pull together as it get more complete. Post new pics when you get more done.
