why do people call a big tattoo a sleeve/half-sleeve these days?
A sleeve raps all around your arm…….. hence the “sleeve” bit. That my friend is a big tattoo.
Its a large tattoo not a sleeve. You should have spent the time that you were working up for the bigger tattoo looking for a better artist those lines are all over the place. Sorry man that is some sloppy line work. Hopefully the coloring won’t be as bad of a job. As long as you’re happy that’s all that matters.
Stop it now! It is very fixable, but it looks like the guy outlined every fret individually? Who the fuck did that? Work the right side of the fretboard in a straight line, THEN draw in the individual frets! This guy is no artist.
Wow you guys brutilised this tattoo. The lines aren’t great but it does look like a tattoo that could easily go bad. It could be recoverable with a good artist finishing it up with great colour work.
Some of the lines look alright to good but some of them particularly around the top of the guitar are real bad.
Correction: The tattooist brutalized that tattoo. We’re just commenting on it 🙂
You’re right, it might be salvaged. But not by this artist.
Some of the lines look alright to good but some of them particularly around the top of the guitar are real bad.
Checked out your album. That’s all I’m sayin.
does anybody else see how the guitar is tottally fucked… he’s done it as though it’s on the side so drawn the side bits but forgot to put the side bit on the top bit. jeez And even though he’s forgot that the lines don’t even look like they have attempted to be straight..
No. You’re the only person that sees that.
if you look the guitar is on a angle right? And the bottle half of the guitar (the big half) has sides on it like it should when you draw something on a angle because that is how you would see it.. But when you go up to the thin part there is so no side bit?
THERES NOTHIN IN HIS ALBUM…. you guys are fucked up… he removed it before i got a chance to see it
I was referring to Graeme’s album, him talking about adding color and all. :p Oh, and here’s another definition for you, Wardy.
