I have never seen a “real” tattoo contest. But, here in Maryland a tv station was asking people to upload their tattoo photos onto the station’s facebook page and whoever could get the most “likes” on their tattoo would win. The winner’s tattoo would become a station ID. I put my tatto up, but never followed-up and don’t know how the contest turned out. I mainly just wanted a chance to show mine off, but it would have been nice if I could have gotten lots friends and family to vote for me. Actually, I doubt if I’d ever enter my tattoo in a real contest. Not really too keen on the idea. I just like showing it off whenever the opportunity arises. 🙂
