Hi,

I am thinking of having a tattoo on my bicep covered up. i have a barbed wire band which i had done when i was quite young and want it covered. I have a great idea for a design which i want to get sketched by an artist friend. The new design is based on a few different experiences of my life over the past year. The tattoo will be completely cover my current band but i am slightly worried about the colours. My current tattoo is black/gray but i would like my new tattoo to have bright and vivid colours, reds, yellows, blues etc. i was just wondered if the black would show through or if the bright colours would block it out?

Any advice appreciated.

No light colors won’t block out black very well. How faded is your tattoo? Have you considered a laser?
Make sure you take your time and get the best coverup artist that you can find. Good luck

You want an idea of how light covers will look, go in my albums and look at the snake cover up I just had done.
