I agree, being an asshole isnt productive for the site, brutal honesty is ok im my book, Im a little older and probably take criticism a little better than some, but I would say there are alot of thin skins around, I feel like we are walking on eggs shells alot……..I think you know how some of us collectors feel, I / we want to help people get better ink
and PLEASE no harrassment of female posters, this place is such a sausage fest (I quote buttweat) and I would like to see the ratio improve, we get a post by a new girl and she tells us she was attacked because of her hair color and got all kinds of disparaging remarks, that isnt cool………….
Actually, she got offended because several people told her that her ink couldn’t be foxed (it has already been reworked once and looked like a blob). You saw the thread … there were no attacks on her at all, for her hair color or any other reason. She was just hyper-sensitive. :/
she got teased a little about her hair not being red when her forum name indicated a redhead, but thats not what I am talking about, she pm’d me and sai she had received alot of imappropriate harrassment, you and I will notget to read those messages, but I believed her and if I was a mod, Id ban anyone who sent that kind of stuff
some of you know back in the day when inkednation (at the time the largest tattoo forum) was at the peak of popularity, hundreds of beautiful women, including friends of mine had to remove their profiles because of sexual and non sexual harrassment…………for gods sake if a woman shows you a beautiful picture of a tattoo two inches from her entertainment center that doesnt give 10 guys the right to send her private messages harrassing her with vulgar propositions……..it has happend beore and I dont want to see it happen on this webforum………….I havent been here long, but it strikes me that there are very few ladies who post on a regular basis, I hope we are treating rhe ladies right………..you hairy legged beasts just dont do it for me, I really appreciate intelligent female conversation and interaction

Personally i don’t think buttwheat has ever been out of order to be honest. He calls what he is thinking and tells the actual truth about people’s tattoo’s. Also banter is always a fun atmopheere but some people just take it to heart. But i 100% agree with turbosaton as a lot of people just want a relaxed atmospheere to come to online and have a grown up sensible conversation.
