Hi

im having a rose + skull tattoo in colour. to fill it out i either want a few green leaves to balance the roses and skull colours out a bit and have a black + shaded background, or do i have lots of leaves going around the arm to make up for background?! ive not seen one like it before so cant imagine having my arm wrapped in leaves. part of my thinks do it cos its different but part of me thinks a black + shaded background is more popular. also thinkin lots of leaves is girly?

opinions please 😀

Does it have to have background? A skull and a rose would make a fine tattoo without anything else around it.
And if you really must have that background, ask your tattooer. Especially if it’s that tattooer’s original design.
