I’m interested in getting a half sleeve on my upper arm. I have about 45 pounds left to lose and I am debating on starting the work now or waiting till all the weight is lost. If I get it know am I more then likely going to end up with a blurred mess?

That’s quite a bit of weight to lose so I would wait until you lose maybe half of it – or perhaps more since the fat on your triceps is going to be some of the last to go. My wife lost about 35 lbs last year and there was a huge difference in the size of her arms before and after. Also, if you lose/gain weight quickly, the distortion will be worse than if you do it gradually.

I agree, that’s a lot of weight to lose so I’d wait.

Wait. You may get stretchmarks from losing weight, thus ruining the final product. Wait until you’ve lost… and maintained… the weight. I’d personally wait a year, but at least wait 6 months.
