So, it’s time for the 7th annual Icelandic Tattoo Convention, and it seems to be getting bigger and bigger each year.

I just saw the add for it, and thought I’d ask y’all if you know any of the artists there? Obviously I’ve never heard of any of them 🙂

I’ve heard of Phil Young, Zach Nelligan, Dave Woodard and Jason June. I would love to get tattooed by the last three I mentioned.

I have also heard of Phil Young and checked out his art a couple times. The man is sick with portraits. Wish I was able to attend the convention.

Sofia Estrella was in New Orleans when I was there; used to work in Reykjavik, but I think she’s based in Florida.

Sofia, Jason and Thomas are the ‘regulars’ at Reykjavik Ink, yes. They seem to rotate here quite regularly, probably because their $$’s are worth so much here so they can live well off not much mulah 🙂
