What a pain in the ass! I’ve been in the same job for 6 years now (I’m 23) and now have to find a whole new career as the industry I work in is completely on it’s arse (I’m a security engineer, working with CCTV, access control etc).
Got interviews lined up over the next week or so, so hopefully won’t be long before I’ve got something but it’s still a nightmare after 6 years of job security!

Anyway, off to an interview right now so wish me luck!

Thanks a lot everyone! Got through to the final recruitment stage for the one I had today! Got another interview tomorrow though for one that I desperately want so we’ll see what kind of mood im in tomorrow after that lol.

Thanks so much for all of your kind words, I’m pleased to say yesterday’s interview went very well. So well infact that they’ve offered me the job! Very excited to get started. It’s different to what I’m used to but should be exciting with much more money!
