Just days after the release of the latest in wearable tech from Apple, the new Apple Watch is showing some serious problems when it comes to Wrist Tattoos.

Reports started to creep in from Reddit, Twitter and other social media channels that dark tattoos on the wrist where the watch sits was causing some odd behaviour with the stopwatch not working correctly or the watch locking up and requiring a password to be entered each time the screen turned off etc.

Apple has confirmed that the heart rate monitor which many features of the watch rely on cannot detect correctly when worn over a tattoo.
