Hi everybody, I am a new user and this is my first post.
Anyway, I’ve been thinking a lot lately about getting my first tattoo, possibly on my shoulder or upper arm. I had considered one for a long time but never committed. There are 2 separate song lyrics that I have for inspiration but don’t know what to use them with. I don’t just want a plain lyric tattoo. To put it simply, they are both about overcoming personal demons.
The first is from August Burns Red’s ‘Composure’:
“Wave goodbye to the past
You’ve got your whole life to lead.”
The second is from We Came as Romans’ ‘Ghosts’:
“Ghosts haunting me aren’t defining me
Ghosts taunting me are reminding me”
I was thinking of a design that included these lines but they’re really for inspiration on the theme I’m looking for. I’d really appreciate any thoughts or ideas. This is a big decision for me and I want it to be be perfect. Thanks!

Its good that you came to a forum first to ask about your first tattoo as the people here will be able to steer you to a proper artist that will give you an amazing bit of art instead of your normal street shop shite ;P
