hello good evening, I’m gristle I’m 41 and from the uk.
been overly pierced over the years ,was going to start a new passion and get inked but my son came along, 15 years later after working hard as a chef its time to catch up and get inked up. i have a tiny one at present ,but I’m into word quotes, and currently struggling with my losers die first one. it a family girl thing, we seem to find the wrong men ,but i need to work out how to add trust and lies into it. i currently have 3 sessions booked in bye bye money. but this one arm piece will be the death of me. i feel.got my nephew to take a look. clear my head. any advice I’m happy to listen ,
I’m off to read the forum.
im not in to love hearts, fluffy tattoos, bears, i like meaningful tattoos ,but i can see this getting out of hand like my piercing and ending up with a sleeve done.

A blunt answer and I am not being rude ๐Ÿ™‚

You have no clue about real tattoo art I am assuming? Cheesy text/quote tattoos are unoriginal, boring and unimaginative. Tattoos do not need meanings, stop watching Miami ink and then take a look at my album so you can see what real art is about.

Then take a look at my signature link below for some real artists ๐Ÿ™‚

After you have done that, if you still want the quotes, get them, its your body. I am just trying to save you coming back here asking about laser when you get bored of reading the same shit quote for years lol ๐Ÿ™‚

Tastes and opinions are individual. Quality is universal. If you get text, I would think quality requires even sizing, spacing, slant and thickness. Spell-checking prevents major uh-ohs. Checking the sketch and stencil (don’t allow free-hand text) closely, have someone else check them. My personal preference in fonts is something legible. Not Helvetica, but not fancy olde English embellished and buried so everyone has to ask what it says, either. Pictures can say a lot more than words, but words can be more specific in meaning. You might consider a combination.

I tend to agree with peter on this issue.

You are certainly correct that tastes and opinions are individual. I’ve seen some absolutely fabulous Black and Gray tattoos, but I’ll never have one.

Main thing is to get a tattoo that fits your mind and body. Tailor made, no “off the rack”!
