George Scharfenberg, the guy who did my Siamese fighting fish tattoo back when he was still with Belfast City Skinworks (he’s got his own studio now), came to the Dublin Tattoo Convention this weekend and I definitely wanted another piece off him. Originally, I wanted to get my Celtic Cats & Butterfly but decided to commission a design from him instead.

I showed him this image:

After a bit less than 3 hours, my leg looked like this:

It’s the next day and I am waddling around like a lame duck. It wasn’t that painful but for some reason my ankle decided to have the twitchies every now and again and I made some serious efforts to lock the joints in place – now the muscles are more sore than the tattoo itself 😀
