Just got some work done on my tattoo last night, still have another session scheduled. I’m concerned about how dark and greenish the shadowing on Wonder Woman is…
My artist is a highly demanded artist and I trust him, but still wanted another opinion to calm my nerves.
^^new to this and not positive how to add photos… sorry its so giant!
I think your tattooist got his/her colors mixed up why the fuck would they tattoo her green?
Who is this high demand artist?
My artist is Carl Fuchs. Used to work at a shop called Trinity Tattoo, now co-owns Red 5 in Virginia Beach. His wait list is 8 months. I’ve had friends go to him and receive incredible work.
PRAYING that he somehow pulls this off….
I will post an update next month after my final session.
You waited 8 months for that work? Was the green the last that he did that day? just seems a real odd stop to stop.
If it were me I would not go back to him I’m sorry but it should be stopped while someone else may still be able to save it.
Yeah, this project has been going on FOREVER.
Fuck me for trying to get decent work in a new city, right? Probably a good call to try and have someone else save it at this point…. Thanks
Looks like what Buttwheat said… Somehow he mixed the greenish colors from that boulder with the shading.
But… it looks like he doesn’t use much black for shading at all on her. So could it be that he tries to make the shadow on her upper body reflect the color
of that rock/boulder?
It really looks like he thought he was was using a grey wash to put shading in it and he couldn’t tell he was using a green tint then stopped suddenly and said lets call it a day. Really a shame but the is a shit ton of great tattooist in the area.
