My maternal grandparents were married in 1917. (He was 22 years old, she was 20) They went to Sunbury, PA on the train for a honeymoon (from New Cumberland it was 52 miles) Finding no seats together. A gentleman offered to move so he could sit beside his sister! (I haven’t thought of that in years)
