One of my other interests is dance! I love to dance. I used to be in competition growing up. I dance when I can, but nothing like I used to. I think I’m going to get a group of friends together that also like to dance and go do my thing again and the local clubs. I like to dance but drinking is only occasional. I’m actually fan of this style of dancing myself. In fact, I usually break out my liquid/robot mixture when I’m waiting in line or at a club. I’m getting pretty good, although my foot work is still kinda sucky. I just can’t figure out how to glide…. I’ve seen people do it and they try to tell me how and I just don’t really get it.
I watched these videos from the bottom up. The guy at the bottom is pretty good from on his top side but his (like mine) foot work was really under developed. I liked the middle one the best, she’s pretty good! I’ve been trying to learn contact juggling too. I started with the acrylic ball but that fucker hurts when you drop it on your foot.

Let me explain 1st video: That’s probably the most like my style. It’s a mix of actual studio dance plus liquid. She actually specializes in the footwork. Her style is prissy which is why I like it. She does the very basic liquid hand movements. Her outfit is rave attire.
2nd video: This girl is amazing. Just watching her go on her knees like she does makes me cringe. I have horribly weak joints and that makes my knees hurt! I’ve never tried the globe dance but I’d really like to. She reminds me a lot of Michael Jackson.
3rd video: He is focusing on hands. His hand work is extremely difficult to perfect. His style is very masculine and what seems the most popular of the three. While footing is a bit basic and sloppy in this video, he does have others where he does better.
I’m glad someone finally commented on this because I thought I was posting it for nothing!! My area doesn’t have a very big dancing scene but I’m about to move so I’m anxious to see what my new city has to offer.
Well, we are a bunch of strangers that you will probably never meet so this is probably the best way for you to out yourself out there with minimal risk for social embarrassment.

(BTW- Demure, you made a comment once about how you don’t watch TV. In general I agree with you but if you look there are some quality programs that you would find very interesting if given the chance. Both of these clips came from the show “so you think you can dance” which is possibly the dumbest name ever for a tv show but it’s a great set up. I think you would really like it if you don’t watch it already.)
