It’s my day off, but I have to go into the office, finish up some paperwork, and pick up my schedule.
I was told my notes have “too much” detail for billing.
Its hot!!!!
Holy sunscreen, Batman:
Tuesday was the 33rd consecutive day of sunshine in Vancouver, making July the sunniest month on record. The weather records, taken from Vancouver International Airport, date back to 1953. :D:D:D

The director herself said she might need me to staff on Saturday.
I said, “If you must, I will, but I really wanted to sleep in two days in a row.”
Well, that was stupid of me. She said she’d call me. BBL, praying to God I don’t work Saturday and then get my n00b ass fired for insolence.
My fish tank has grown algae and the snails that appeared magically are now climbing to the top of my reef every night and ejaculating.

That’s good! Do you have a probation period?
Personally I believe a person should be paid at a rate that he can live on comfortably WITHOUT relying on overtime compensation. They should also have sick day, and vacation benefits.
In the railroad industry in the USA and Canada we have “Brotherhood’s Relief and Compensation Fund”. (Fuck Up Insurance) This covers our lost pay when railroad employees are suspended for rules violations and other infractions.
Yesyesyes! In a fulltime job you should have no trouble surviving without overtime… Sick/vacation benefits shouldn’t even be a question :S
Over here, you get 12% of your total pay the previous year in June, so you can afford to have a vacation. And if you get sick, you still get paid. More than 17 days and the state pays. I think it pays what you’ve made on average the past 6months or so.
I honestly can’t believe these things are an issue for you guys. Clearly you deserve your benefits!
*happy in my socialist country*
