I’m sorry to hear that, Dan. I’m so glad she kicked it out on it’s treacherous ass. When I had my own scar tattooed over, I was amazed how you can no longer see it, so I’m sure her results will be good. The odd part is you can still feel the scar, but that’s. A vast improvement.
I figure our planned trip to Maui in May 2014 should be enough time to heal her leg so a tattoo repair/addition will be ok to do,
we always go to Maui in May every year for mother’s day,
how long did you wait after the surgery to get the tattoo over it ?
It ended up being four year, but I had some nerve damage I wanted to sort out.
If it was skin cancer and the muscle fascia isn’t sliced into, it should be okay tattoo over after the initial healing and there won’t be any significant changes.

If you put on a shirt every time you go outdoors, aren’t you really letting the cancer win?
A week at Rehoboth Beach was fine due to using Parrot Head HPF 50 spray on sunscreen. It’s not greasy, it’s waterproof, and dries FAST! I got some color, but no sunburn.
I stayed in dark places (with music and refreshments) during peak sun hours.
I got to experience around a 100 degrees in Key West last week… And an average 90 in Miami. 90 in New York was a bit of a bitch, too.
Seriously, I hardly ever experience this warm weather, last time was in Sicily two years ago. I’m surprised I didn’t pass out! :p
Amazing and exhausting at the same time! How people work or work out in such heat is a mystery to me…!
Back home now to the normal 55. Not too cold yet! ^^
