Their’s a suprising connection between the two genres. They both emerged for similar reasons: they didn’t really like what Rock N’ Roll was dishing out at the time. Several metal artists have covered punk songs. Does anyone have any comments on this?
When I say “connection” I’m not talking about the style because the sound of the genres themselves are drastically different.
