The best diss question made this spark. It’s bad enough people are calling “Hit Em Up” a great track, but the best diss track ever?…WTF?
“First off, f*ck your b!tch
And the click you claim
West side when we ride
Come equipped with game
You claim to be a playa
But, I f*cked your wife
We bust on Bad Boys
n!ggas f*ck for Life”
THAT SH!T IS WACK! Sorry, but if you can’t even realize when your favorite artist puts out doo-doo tracks, you’re a groupie. My favorite artist is Andre 3000, and he’s been pretty consistent with making good music. But I can still tell you I wasn’t feeling most of “The Love Below” though. I mean, just because they’re your favorite artist doesn’t mean everything they touch is gold. What’s the deal? Are they paying your gas bill?
“Do you fools listen to music or do you just skim through it?”
-Jay-Z
Yo Thank U Man I Feel Like That Once They Listen To One Guy They Feel Like Nutin Is Betta… Like Sayin Hit Em Up Is Betta Than Either. Either Completely Took Out Jay-z And Jay-z Himself Admitted That He Got His Ass Kicked By Nas In Brooklyn High. Thats Some Good Stuff If Ur Own Adversary Admits That Ur Better Than Urself.
You make a good point. Most fans are groupies because they’re uneducated and undereducated. Everybody will say Tupac and Notorious B.I.G. are the greatest rappers ever because that’s the only rappers that have been shoved into their minds as the best. Come on they’ve been dead for 11 years. I’ve been off that groupie tip for about a year now and it’s time everybody starts expanding what artists they listen to. Instead of listening to Lil Wayne why don’t you listen to Little Brother? Put down T.I.’s new album and go pick up that Keith Murray. It’s all about what people let the media do to them. When it comes to listening to hip-hop music, I’m choosing who I feel is the best because I’m listening to the pioneers.
