Rappers have a talent for wearing sunglasses at night, wearing gold chains, and work-out clothes, and being in and out of jail. That’s the only talent they really have.
It is shameful there is such a lowing of the bar that rap is even mentioned in the same sentence with music.

Yikes… so much ignorance in this thread… I rarely see hip hop fans going around bashing other genres…
Anyway, many rappers/producers do make their own music…and even for the ones that don’t it might be because they don’t have much time… you see writing rap lyrics to a beat and making sure they rhyme and sound good is very tough in itself

It’s very unoriginal. They should come up with their own music. I find most rappers to have no talent at all.

They don’t sample for every track but sampling certain tunes does sell well! i wouldn’t say they have zero talent,it’s not as easy as you think and alot of the sampled tunes they make still sounds better than alot of the commercial cr*p that’s coming out.I think it’s down to which music you like and which music you never want to like!
