Why is it that some ‘fans’ always want to turn one region against another? Its like some are scared to embrace artists that dont share their coast or region. I could easily be on here saying “New York rappers are the best, everyone else suck”, but i don’t. If you’re hot, you’re hot, i dont care if you’re from the East Coast, the Midwest, The south, or The West Coast. Let’s take this comment from another answer as an example “southern rappers are the real thugs, west coast and southern the best, them new york rappers are fake and was born wit a silver spoon in their mouth”, just from readin that you would think the city of New York personally did somethin to offend this cat, its like people have grudges against certain areas for no reason at all…come up to new york and turn on the radio station, they show artists love from all over the country, can you say the same for every other part of the country? what im gettin at is, why do the fans try to create regional wars within hip hop?
Why cant we appreciate music from all regions instead of pinning one against the other?
