Also can i get a list of collaborations between american rappers and reggaeton artists. and additionally i want people to tell me what they think the future for reggaeton is going to be .
there is no future , it was a fad and in all honesty it was complete disrespect towards rap. ! it is a bunch of jacked beats but more importantly it was “degrading” women in every way shape or form, plus u see all those artist did not capitalize on the minor sucess they had. look nore made a new album and said he would never do another reggaton song EVER !
Reggaeton is a blend of “wanna-be” hip hop and reggae (a sorry attempt, at least). Personally, I dislike reggaeton. Not too long ago, there was a station dedicated to it here in L.A. and honestly I really don’t know how that happened. All songs sound the same to me, and my b/f and I joke about how there must be 3 templates artists choose from when making a reggaeton song. Okay, so maybe I shouldn’t bash on it too much because I must admit there are few songs that I enjoy dancing at the club to. All my friends love the music, but it’s so not my taste.
I see no future in Reggaeton, soon, everyone will get fed up with the same beats and the same storyline in the songs.
