to rock music. Am I crazy? or is it my friends that are closed minded.
When I crank up Led Zeppelin or Pink Floyd, at house parties or in my car, some of my friends think I am crazy. I tell them that we cannot change the type of music and how we like it. They still don’t get it that I “feel the music” when I listen to classic rock. They all moved on to softie music which is fine but do not shake your head when I am jamming to Zeppelin or Floyd.
I hope somebody here today sides with me on this one….LOL. But actually, what I would like is your honest opinions.
You are NOT crazy! Your friends have lost their youthful spirit… They probably are the same ones that complain that their lives are boring and their spouses or significant others don’t pay enough attention to them.
Life’s journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting “Holy s–t, what a ride!”
Rock on Girlfriend!
Listen to what ever the heck makes you feel good! You don’t poke fun at them for listening to “softie” music do you? They should respect you, too, by not poking fun at you!
Keep Jammin’ !!!!!!!!Music keeps you young. Just don’t crank it so loud when your with the quiet ones. LOL Dance move your head rock out. Thats what Rock and Roll was made for no matter the age. I’m not yet 40 but when I get to be 80 I’ll still listen to Zeppelin.
58 the new 38. Jam on young lady.
You Go Girl!
You are definately NOT crazy!
I think it is so cool that you listen to rock music. Just because you are 58 doesn’t mean that you can’t let your hair down and listen to music that you love. Your friends maybe a bit jealous that you are still so youthful.
But maybe when your friends are round, you should respect their wishes sometimes by playing a mix of your rock with their soft stuff.
Carry on rocking hun! You’ll be the coolest gal around!
