    I’m in a relationship that I am not happy with, I dont want to hurt his feeling but I am not attracted to him at all. He really doesnt know how to be romantic. I dont have time to teach an old dog new tricks. He needs to read a book or something.

    It is never going to feel great getting dumped no matter how diplomatic you are about it.
    “This relationship is not working out for me–I think we need to call it a day and move on.” is the best I can do.
    You are right not to waste your time or think you will change him.
    I am sure even if it hurts, he would rather you be honest and move on than continue in this dead-end relationship.

    Tell him that you are unhappy and romantically you are unsatisfied and you want to end the relationship.

    Why would you tell him to kick rocks, when can simply say that things are not working out and you’d rather not continue in the relationship? You’re a grown woman. Talk to the man in an adult manner.
