Most comtemporary bands now-a-days suck balls, all this crappy emo shit. To me, the best new band around right now are The Arctic Monkeys. Them and maybe a handful of other bands like QOTSA, The Shins, The Strokes but most of the other bands that are kickass right now have been around for a while like Radiohead, Pearl Jam and Foo Fighters. Other bands have gone down the shithole (Incubus anyone?) But still most of the shit I listen to are bands that arent even around anymore (soundgarden, Blind melon, 70s rock, 60s rock). But yeah, just had to say what I had on my mind. What do you guys think?
If you’re watching MTV or listening to your top 40 pop station, then it sucks ****. If you’re on the internet, it rocks. And seriously, people will get tired of the same thing again and again. Forget the emo scene, you yourself listed a few active bands that are still doing well. Look around the internet, try different genres. Not all of us are listening to emo.

The only new music I listen to is industrial or EBM. The rest of this new music lacks creativity and originality. Furthermore, most new music is commercialized corporate garbage that needs to be disposed of.
