I recently purchased the DVD-“Deep Purple-Live in California ’74” and absolutely LOVED it as, I am a major Deep Purple fan but, I was just curious about something…It seems to me that this particular band; at one time considered one of the hottest groups around, must have recorded quite a few other concerts all over the world…
I was just wondering why there seems to be so few Deep Purple concerts available on DVD??
(Personally, I would love to see the “Deep Purple-Made in Japan” concert from 1972-73!!)
Is it just because not enough fans have requested to see these particular concerts shown in their entirety or, do we have to simply wait and see what is released in the near future?
Also, does anyone know if there is a concert on DVD of Deep Purple [currently available] featuring the late guitarist Tommy Bolin?? (The Album-“Deep Purple-Last Concert in Japan” was awesome!…I would LOVE to see THIS concert on DVD!!)
Any input or info would be appreciated!
Unfortunatly, people got tired of them pretty fast an’ then they just kept recording studio albums hust to see if they could get a few more hits to get a bigger fan base and then they didn’t really ever, I guess. Not sure, though. Just my guess.
This question is familliar , maybe yesterday? What you probably need is to use a search to find some Deep Purple fan sites , or if the actual DP website has a messageboard. There you can connect with diehard fans who either have what you want , or know for sure how to get it. Cheers.
