I don’t know if this is already a thread or not, but I thought it would be an interesting topic anyway.
My favourite would have to be Raging Bull, or Amadeus.
Amadeus really opened my musical horizons while Raging Bull is a pure classic, Robert De Niro is one of favourite actors.
The sort of jealous personality he plays in it is something I can relate to sometimes.
Tough one. Either The Godfather or The Shawshank Redemption
Three way tie:
Tank Girl
Fight Club
Gladiator
trains planes and automobiles
canon ball run
beatle juice
This is a really hard question for me. But I think the only movie I can watch a million times and not get sick of is Muppet Treasure Island 😀
Honarable mentions to Kill Bill, The Princess Bride, and Rat Race.
Run Lola run, Dr. Strangelove, Leon the Professional, Gummo, Fight club, and A Bugs Life
Pride and Prejudice directed by Joe Wright, With Keira Knightley, Talulah Riley, Rosamund Pike. Actually, I’ve watched it for 5 times at least.
Going out on a limb with a comedy here… Grandma’s Boy. I love that movie. Its the only movie ive watched more than twice in one day and enjoyed it each time. Ive watched it no joke at least 35-40 times and still laugh at each scene and love it. Its amazing.
Non-Comedy, Gladiator tied with Invincible.
I love con air…makes me cry at the end everytime! and the underworld triology x
Here’s a surprise.
Mission to Mars
Space Cowboys
Apollo 13
War of the Worlds
But all time favorite has to be Misery
Star Wars (All of them)
Donnie Darko
Leon
The Fifth Element
Stay
Bram Stocker’s Dracula
+ Tim Burton’s films
goodfellows, greenmile, silence of the lambs, too many to mention
Some interesting movies you all have posted thus far…
For me…
It’s another three-way tie.
V for Vendetta
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
The Illusionist
If you haven’t watched ALL three…they really are very very good.
