    I’m not sure where this should have gone, since I’m not really posting an idea neither am I requesting for a design. I’m actually looking for some ideas, hope you guys might be able to provide me with some links to photos and stuff, get my creative juices flowing!

    Alright so here it is, originally I made an appointment at this tattoo parlor for the end of Feb to get the word FAITH written down the inner part of my forearm, but later on I decided to move it to my upper arm instead. Also at the advice of a friend, she suggested that maybe I should get a design to go with the wording to make it more interesting.

    So basically here’s roughly how it should look like:

    F
    A
    I
    T
    H

    It’s probably gonna be done in either Gothic or Old English font, but the thing is now I’m stuck on trying to figure out a design idea for it. Anyone got any ideas or some examples of tattoos which are similar that I can perhaps draw some inspiration from? =)

    Well I have seen several hundred religious tattoos and would also recommend http://www.religioustattoos.net/ for Christian/Judaic designs.

    Off the top of my head;

    Praying hands where the rosary beads form the word faith.

    Scripture style scroll with the words faith written across it.

    Cross/Star David with the words faith at the centre.

    Open Palm (maybe a Hamza) with the word Faith incoporated into it.

    A dove with the word faith on the underside of the wing.

    I could go on and on but just a few to get your mind working.

    Good luck and can’t wait to see how it comes out.

    Ah oops, sorry my bad, I think I forgot to mention that in no way is this supposed to be a religious tattoo. The faith I was aiming for was more like faith in oneself, believing in whatever you do and etc.

    Any other ideas? ><
