Hello everyone.

Ive started this thread because I’m brainstorming for an tattoo…I really want an artwork, with emotion and beautifull images..all put together in 1 piece. And it would be great if there are people here that could help me put it together, with ideas or drawings.

The reason for this tattoo is because my mother passed away 6 march this year. Since then I knew, I wanted to carrie this happening, and thoughts with me for the rest of my life.

I have a few pictures that I really want in my tattoo, I want to make a sleeve from it, starting from the shoulder to 3inch under my elbow. At the elbow I dont want the tattoo to end as a normal sleeve, all around the arm, but fading away or something.

I’ll put a short text about my mother, maybe it gives you an better idea.
My mother had psychologic problems since I was born, with that she also was abused mentally and physically by her husband so life was getting hard on here, with also raising two kids. My father (her husband) left her when I was 8 and then we went on on our own. My mother has an psychologic disease where everytime she would fall in an psychose and when getting out, she would function less then before.
I’ve experienced close to 8 psychose’s, and it was hard..but she always kept taking care of me, my older sister was pretty much on here own cause she was older. I was never neglected, and my mother always loved me.
This year, the loneliness and pain was getting to hard on here, all she wanted on that moment is getting normal and feeling good, the medicine made her weak and depressed.
What always kept by me is she always asked about me, she always wanted to give me money even when I have a good job and she dint have much to live on.
She dint had real hobby’s, the most inportant this for here was that her kids got to live happy lives, get married etc. She dint care to much for herself anymore.
On 6 march she was pushed to a point of despair and hopelessness, lost and scared…and she leapt in a river…taking her own life.

Well I’ll put the pictures here what I want to put in the tattoo, with some comment;

Only take away all the text, and change the face from the man, into it of my mother’s face..but keeping its original image

The lotus because in my mothers culture it stands for birth and pureness. My mother really liked flowers and the meaning of this flower is beautifull I think. I want the lotus under the baby hand, so the hand is reaching from the flower.

I also want 1 maybe 2 guardian angels on the top of the tattoo, this is not the picture I want, i’m still looking for a right one.

Trough the whole tattoo I want a profile, to make it look like one piece, I’m thinking of this kind of sunbeams, But I dont know if it would be nice.

I also want here name, and maybe a short text in Hindi, I dont know where to place it yet.

So all together:

– On the shoulder the one or two guardian angel(s), and starting sunbeams.
– Looking down on the picture of the baby hand and my mothers face
– Under the reaching babyhand, the lotus flower
– The sunbeams through the whole tattoo
– Text in hindi, location I dont know yet

I would really like ideas or maybe drawings of an artwork..maybe someone has an better idea to fill up the tattoo instead of the sunbeams, I dont want the sleeve to end around my arm, but more uneven, like this picture: (see next post)
