Hi, I am wanting a tattoo of a lily and chrysanthemum. This tatto is very special to me as I was expecting twin girls and lost one to twin to twin transfusion at 24 weeks. She was called Lily.
My other baby was born at 32 weeks in november. I wanted to have a tattoo for Lily and then had the idea to have my other daughter (Ava) birth flower which is a crysanthemum too so they are together.
I have a few tattoos already so am clued up to what I want, its just being able to put the two flowers together so it looks good. I am wanting something around 5-6 inches and for my left forearm on the inside. Could someone help??!!!
Many thanks
Hello shazzer welcome to the forums. I’m sorry for your loss and this tattoo really does mean a lot to you. Your idea is awesome. You should find a tattooer to translate your idea to ink. What part of the country are you in. Maybe someone here can recommend a tattooer for you. Well good luck and keep everyone posted.
Patrick
Hi Patrick, thanks. I live in Cumbria. As Im new to this site I wondered if people on here would actually be able to make an idea up? Do people do that on here?
:confused:Im wanting to be able to take an idea in for him to see and then maybe alter slightly? I do have a tattooist in mind but would like to see if someone could make me up something.
As you know it is very important to me so I want plenty of time to perfect it.
Thanks again
Sharon
So sorry for your loss Shazzer.
You could go all Blue Peter on the deal. If you have a printer then cool if not then you need a friend right now. Google images of the two flowers then select one you like. Print the images out and cut them out. Stick them together and bobs your uncle take your collage into the best studio you can find and ask your artist to draw something up for you based on what you have.
To be honest if you cant find an artist near you that takes what you gave them and redraws it into a stunning tattoo design then please remember how important this is and wait until you can get to a truly great artist.
No-one ever regreted good work but I see the product of work that was rushed into for all the right reasons every day.
