That would be an easy cover job. It would have to be bigger than the original design though. So it will go up the leg higher. Your best bet is to go to a shop and talk to a tattooer. Good luck.

I was going to respond and then I decided not to and then I changed my again. Clearly.

The problem with this is that you have to cover all of the existing tattoo with dark ink because nothing else will look right over it. So you are talking about a rather large design to cover it properly. If you are going to move down instead of up that will limit your options as the space below is smaller.

I’m not sure how you are going accomplish that without having a huge solid black portion of tat. Talk to an artist to check you options.
