Hey there,

I’ve got my latest tattoo booked in for next week and am having a nightmare finding part of what I want online. I’d like an open book with vines coming out of it and some other detailing.
The issue is finding a tattoo of an open book, I’ve seen several I like over the years, yet my searches are just producing books about tattoos!

I’d just like to get a rough idea of what I want on paper now as am utterly hopeless at drawing!!!

Anyone have one, or any good photos they can find?!

Hi

I am currently at work so will have a look later for you. Have you considered taking some shots of the sort of book you like – the library will have many leather bound old style books.

The artist can draw up from the influence of the photo.

Yes, I’ve got a few photos of the basic idea, but would love to see an actual tattoo of it. I find that peoples tattoos are where I really notice what I think would work on me and want I wouldn’t want.

These are not the best examples but images seem scarce on this topic.

I would recommend an artist drawing one up cos frankly many of these suck as a tattoo – but at least shows what not to get :p

I’d found the foot one and that was it… definitely showing me what I don’t want!!!

I’m all for the artist drawing it up… definitely believe in paying for an artist who tattoos, not a tattooist who can copy, if that makes sense. I just wish I’d been blessed with the ability to draw!

I will be proudly showing the result off next week 🙂
