Hi all,

I’m in a band called Zelig and I have the band logo tattoo on my upper arm – it’s vertically on my left bicep. The logo looks like this – http://www.zeligmusic.co.uk/gallery/promo/chimney.jpg – (just the text bit on the left).

I’d really like to develop and build up this tattoo in to a full band around my upper arm, but I’m no designer, far from it, my art skills are simply awful!

I don’t know if this is something you guys can mock up for me, but I was hoping for a few designs that may end up as a tattoo.

I can upload of copy of just the logo, once I get home. I can also take a photo of the tattoo that I already have if that will help.

Some ideas to work with:
We have a “Zip-head” theme running through our band artwork at the moment, so definitely incorportaing zip tracks into the design would be cool. As I am a guitarist, I would love to include a guitar fretboard (maple) in the banding somehow.
Things to avoid would be he normal “rock” cliches, such as stars, skulls and flames etc (sorry if I’ve offended anyone!).
Other ideas to play around with would be anything to challege the idea of identity and in particular, clothing defining identity – a bit vaugue I know.
We have an androgynously female naked body with a zip for a head as our main artwork theme at the moment, so any ideas that you garner from that could fit in well.
Also anything to do with music (except actual musical notation, as that’s not really how we write music – we tend to noodle around until something fits).

I’m sorry, I know I’m being a real awkward SOB here but any design ideas from you guys will be greatly appreciated.
