Just made this as an ending border to my short sleeve piece in the making. It will wrap around my entire arm and the grenade and text will be centered beneath my Polish Eagle. My Grandfather was injured from shrapnel during WWII.
From there I’m thinking of flames rising up from the wrap and staying behind the eagle. As the flames rise they will progressively appear calmer and more water like and the color of the flames will fade out. The wisps of flame then turn into sea waves and at the peak will be a classic example of a ship. My Great Grandfather toured the Philippines in the Navy.

As for underneath the armband, I’m at a loss, though I think it would be fine by itself.

Any Ideas/Comments would be nice.
