    hey guys,

    I’ve been thinking of getting a memorial tattoo for my dad, who passed away 6 years ago. However, I’m useless at designing it, and can’t really decide where to start.

    Ive got a pic of the kinda things I want on the tattoo in my profile, however really struggling on the layout/design. I want it on my back, any ideas? Im considering angel wings, but not sure if id really like them.

    Hi Ryan

    Sorry for your loss.

    First of all you have to decide if you really want the tattoo. I am not trying to put you off but wearing a memorandum tatt is a solid reminder of loss every time you see it or somebody comments on it.

    The wings always make a nice tattoo some argue a bit effeminate on men but I always say it depends on the artist style – I have seen some very masculine wing tattoos.

    Is there any one thing that you and your dad shared or loved to do? Or perhaps a single trait that could be captured into a tattoo that represents his spirit?
