Watch your anatomy, especially your eyes. Humans and snakes both are predatory, making their eyes more forward-facing.

you have some basic elements wrong and thats where you are going to need to work with others and an instructor to get you on the right track, it is great you are drawing, nothing like lots of practice

take a weekend class if that is all you can commit to, you will improve quickly
