hey forum,

this will be my first tattoo. i did a quick mock-up in photoshop of some of the things that mean something to me, but i feel it’s slightly cheesy and too simple. i’d like to get it down the entire length of my inner forearm.

could you give me some ideas on how to make the design better, how to place the text better, maybe font ideas. or if the idea is total crap i’d like to hear that too.

the design is of a sword for my love of arthurian legend. the endless knot in the background is to remind me to be compassionate when dealing with others. and the words sila, panna and samadhi are pali for morality, wisdom and concentration.
