    Hey guys!

    I’m new to the forum but it looks like you guys are all pretty creative and know what you’re talking about so I’ve come to you for advice. I’ve got a few tattoos including one on the back of my left shoulder. I like the tattoo design, but the execution was pretty poor (I got it in some guy’s basement and paid for it with a broken iPod…lesson learned). I don’t know how to post pics so if someone wants to help me out with that it would be greatly appreciated since I don’t have a photobucket etc account. But basically my tattoo in question is two lacrosse sticks in the shape of an “X”. It’s not too dark, but I have fair skin and only about 4″ in diameter….any ideas? I honestly haven’t seen too many cover-ups that I like, and I’m not a fan of when you can tell it’s a cover-up as soon as you see it. I’m also considering just going to a quality shop and getting it cleaned up, if possible.

    The tattoos in my future include a pin-up girl and some Boston-themed ink, but any ideas would be appreciated as I’m hopefull they’ll get my “creative juices” flowing!

    Wow yup that is shit. But you can basically cover it with anything especially color or thick black ink tattoo images. So you want a pinup? What did you have in mind?? I’ll see if I can’t come up with something tomorrow.

    well i was thinking if i get rid of the lacrosse sticks i was going to get a pinup holding a lacrosse stick wearing a uniform that was all tatterred, but i wasn’t planning on getting it on my back, i was thinking either calf or tricep….but you never know

    The best idea is to find a pose you like and style. Is she sitting? Standing? Lying down? What? Then I can do some web searching for ya… In short… you need to pick the pose then tell your artist about the clothing and stick. It’s no problem to do those.

    those are all pretty awesome

    i don’t think i could use the pinup to cover the lacrosse sticks though, the sticks are probably about 4″x4″ and that would make for one huge pinup girl

    but like i said, those are all great starting points for a “replacement” to the lax sticks

    i’m gonna go to a shop this week and see if i can get some more ideas…
